SAFA on NEC meeting, Minister McKenzie reassures support

SAFA has hailed the NEC meeting held this past weekend as a success. Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Gayton McKenzie attended the meeting and reassured his support for the federation.

SAFA held their ordinary NEC Meeting in Gqeberha before Bafana Bafana’s CAF AFCON qualifier match against Congo Brazzaville at Nelson Mandela Stadium. Bafana won that match 5-0 but remain second in Group K, tied on seven points alongside Uganda.

In a statement on Sunday, the association says Minister McKenzie joined the meeting towards the end and was also present during some of the presentations.
