Orlando Pirates handed DDC champions Stellenbosch FC their second loss this season, while Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns picked up victories over the weekend.

Joseph Makhanya’s team – Pirates rallied from a 1-0 deficit to claim a 2-1 victory at Malta Park on Sunday morning. Quwan Plaatjies opened the scoring for Stellenbosch, but Mehluleli Maphumulo’s two goals ensured that Pirates took home all three points.
