Musona’s next move revealed
Former PSL star Walter Musona’s next move has been revealed after leaving Simba Bhora FC, where he won major silverware last season.
The former Polokwane City forward was the point of reference as the team won the 2024 league title in their second elite league season.
Naturally, the 29-year-old became a subject of speculation after his contract expired in December.
His former club, FC Platinum wanted to lure him back but they were beaten to his signature by Scottland FC.
FARPost sources have revealed that the 2024 Player of the Season has signed a two-year contract with Scottland.
In securing Musona’s signature, Scottland FC are said to be parting ways with R433,000 [US$23 000] in signing-on fees.

Meanwhile, the exciting forward has waved goodbye to Simba Bhora FC where he had a stellar season.
“I’d like to thank the Simba Bhora FC family for taking my career to another level last season.
“Captaining the team to its maiden championship is now the biggest highlight of my career.
“And I’m also grateful for the club’s role in helping me become a two-time Soccer Star of the Year.
“I also want to thank the owner of the team, Simba Ndoro, fans, my teammates, the technical team and our sponsors, particularly Brighton Panjap Ushendibaba.
“As I open the next page of my career, Simba Bhora will always be in my heart. We achieved a lot in a short period and I wish you all the best in 2025,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Khama Billiat is also expected to join Scottland FC though he is still weighing options, amid interest from Betway Premiership teams.
Sekhukhune United have registered interest in his services. It will be exciting to see if Musona and Billiat combine at the ambitious club, Scottland FC.
