WHAT MPHO MAKOLA SAID ABOUT COACH MUHSIN ERTUGRAL
As such, former CT City midfielder Mpho Makola, who is an admirer of Ertugral’s style revealed what he feels are the best circumstances for the coach to thrive.
“He thrives well with youngsters. I think he is at the right place at the right time because the club has a number of youngsters that I have seen do well,” he said.
“Most importantly, there is Lebogang Manyama who I believe has the keys to unlock some of the young ones.
“But the fact that coach Ertugral is there changes everything for the good because his style of play is aggressive and often has results.
“And with the energtic youngsters like Luyolo Slatsha, I think Cape Town City will be more difficult.
“And the fact that they managed to beat the Soweto giants shows that there is a renewed energy at the club.
“They seem to want it more now, but what will matter the most is being consistent in all respects. Personally, I am excited to see how my former team will end the season.”
Makola starred for CT City then under coach Tinkler when he made 94 appeareances with three goals to his name.
