On Sunday, Sundowns secured maximum points after beating Pirates 2-1. Masandawana are now second in the league table with 28 points after 13 games. Pirates sit eighth having collected 19 points from 13 games.
Cape Town City downed AmaZulu 3-2 while Richards Bay FC triumphed 1-0 over Sekhukhune United.
