Reeve Frosler outlines main goals as Chiefs contract expires

Kaizer Chiefs versatile defender Reeve Frosler has outlined his main goal as his current contract with the Soweto giants nears its end.

Frosler, who joined Chiefs from now-defunct Bidvest Wits ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, will be out of contract when the current 2024/25 Betway Premiership season concludes [on 30 June 2025].

There are five other Amakhosi players whose contracts are expiring in June and will be hoping for contract extensions. This includes the likes of Ranga Chivaviro, Yusuf Maart, Edmilson Dove, Edson Castillo and George Matlou.

In the current campaign under Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi, the 27-year-old Frosler has been a regular starter at the right-back position. Another right-back option at Chiefs is Dillan Solomons. So far this season, Frosler has played 12 matches across all competitions and grabbed a single assist.

The talented fullback says he has to continue giving his utmost best for the club. He’s aiming for good performances in the coming months to help the club achieve its goals by the end of the season.

“I just have to continue doing my best; my contract finishes at the end of the season. So I got the next few months to stay fully focused, continue doing my job at the club,” said Frosler.

“So the rest of us, we are going to do our jobs and try to get the best possible results as a team and as a club so we can prosper.

“I pray that I may have a good six months and that the team achieves everything that it needs to achieve and that we achieve as a unity.”
