Jayden Adams breaks silence on Sundowns move

Bafana Bafana international Jayden Adams has broken his silence after his move to Mamelodi Sundowns from Stellenbosch FC.

The talented midfielder joined Bafana Ba Style on a three-and-a-half-year contract, with the club announcing his arrival on Saturday.

At Stellies, Adams spent five years and was part of the squad that made history by winning the 2023/24 Carling Knockout Cup title, the side’s first-ever trophy.

In the five years with the Cape Winelands-based outfit, the 23-year-old featured in 139 games across all competitions, contributing nine goals and weighed in with 10 assists.

Given his stellar displays in The Maroon Army, Adams broke into the Bafana squad under the tutelage of Hugo Broos. He was also part of the SA National Team that won the bronze medal at the 2023 AFCON tournament held in Ivory Coast.
