Former Polokwane City striker Khuda Muyaba has joined Motsepe Foundation Championship side of Venda FC. Muyaba recently left Richards Bay following the conclusion of the previous season.
Muyaba is no stranger to the province of Limpopo as he previously enjoyed a successful stint at ‘Rise and Shine’. During the 2021/22 season, Muyaba netted 15 goals in the league helping the side gain promotion back to the Premiership.

But things turned sour for the Malawian international the following season. Surprisingly, he struggled to get game time at the club. He eventually parted ways with the club.
It later emerged that the club defaulted on some payments owed to the player. He took the matter to FIFA, who slapped the club with a transfer ban.
The 31-year-old spent the past season in KwaZulu-Natal at Richards Bay. He featured in 11 matches and scored just one goal. Muyaba has been a free agent since the beginning of the season.
KHUDA MYABA NAMED IN THE STARTING LINE-UP FOR VENDA FC IN THE NEDBANK CUP
FARPost has established that Muyaba has now joined Venda FC. The striker has reportedly been training with the club for a while trying to impress the technical team.
He was spotted in the stands during the Vhembe derby between Black Leopards and Venda FC two weeks ago. He has now officially joined the club and was named in the starting line-up for the Nedbank Cup last 32 match against Cape Town Spurs taking place at Thohoyandou Stadium.
Muyaba’s experience will come in handy for the Venda FC side that has been struggling to score goals in the national first division. VFC have only scored 12 times this season. The club recently parted ways with striker coach Collins Mbesuma who was working under Vladislav Heric.
