Khama Billiat part of another fearsome trio in Zimbabwe
After his combination with Leonardo Castro and Keagan Dolly, Khama Billiat finds himself in what appears to be another fearsome trio in Zimbabwe.
Billiat, Dolly and Castro remain engraved in Mamelodi Sundowns‘ books after terrorising defenders for years in the SA elite league and CAF Champions League. During their time with the club, the trio formed one of Sundowns’ most prolific trios.
Masandawana enjoyed a period of dominance in the PSL during their time. The much-vaunted CBD also led the club’s attack in the 2016/17 season when they clinched the CAF Champions League and Super Cup. And when he left Mamelodi Sundowns, Billiat struggled to spark at Kaizer Chiefs after joining them in June 2018.
He failed to help Amakhosi end their Betway Premiership title drought until his unceremonious exit in 2023. Interestingly, the 34-year-old now sits on a purple patch, albeit in the twilight of his career. The stylish forward is now in the books of Scottland FC after leaving Yadah FC in December.
He opted to remain in Zimbabwe, where he joined the newly-promoted Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League side.

And it is at Scottland FC that, Billiat finds himself playing along with 2024 Player of the Season Walter Musona and 2024 Golden Boot winner Lynoth Chikuhwa.
Musona, the brother of ex-Chiefs star Knowlegde Musona aslo played football in the PSL for Polokwane City FC and Sekhukhune United.
Billiat, Musona, and Chikuhwa form Scottland FC’s fiery forward line as they prepare for their maiden PSL season in Zim.
It remains to be seen how they will fare when the season kicks off in March.
But the trio is expected to get the Harare-based ticking by scoring goals. Last season, the trio scored a combined 50 goals for Yadah FC, Simba Bhora FC and Highlanders FC, respectively.
