Tshepo Motsoeneng reunites with his former club

In a surprising move, well-travelled mentor Tshepo Motsoeneng has reunited with his former club Njampela FC in the SAFA KwaZulu-Natal ABC Motsepe League.

This comes after Motsoeneng parted ways with the Njampela at the beginning of the season [October 2024], guiding the side to the 2024 ABC Motsepe National Playoffs.

To add to that, Motsoeneng also led Njampela to the Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi Legacy Cup triumph, defeating Betway Premiership side Richards Bay FC 4-3 in the penalty shootout.

Motsoeneng left Njampela a few days later to join rivals Dlangezwa Hellenic FC. However, things did not go smoothly at Dlangezwa, and he left the club in December 2024.

Following his departure at Dlangezwa, the ex-SuperSport United and Santos FC goalkeeper secured another coaching gig at Tiger Boys in the Mpumalanga ABC Motsepe League.

Tiger Boys recently made headlines for withdrawing from the amateur league, citing poor officiating as the reason.

However, a day go, the side issued a statement claiming that their e-mail was hacked and that they didn’t have the intention to pull out from the league.

They further apologised to SAFA Mpumalanga for bringing the league and sponsors into disrepute.
