Mokwana wins first title in Tunisia, Campbell makes Brugge debut
Bafana Bafana attacker Elias Mokwana won his first title in Tunisia with Esperance, whilst starlet Shandre Campbell made his Club Brugge debut.
On Sunday, Esperance defeated Stade Tunisien 2-0 at the Stade Olympique Hammadi in Rades to win the Tunisian Super Cup. The Bafana Bafana international Elias Mokwana opened the scoring in the 59th minute. Then, teammate Youcef Belaile doubled the lead in the 84th minute.
As for Campbell, he finally made his Club Brugge debut on Saturday in a 2-2 draw against Sint-Truidense V.V. in the Belgian Pro League at Sayen Stadium. The SA Under-20 starlet, who was recently promoted to the first team, was introduced as a late substitute. He came in in the 85th minute.
MIHLALI MAYAMBELA AND CASSIUS MAILULA FIND THE BACK OF THE NET
Mihlali Mayambela was on target for Aris Limassol. They defeated Anorthosis 3-0 in the Cypriot First Division on Saturday away from home, at Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium. The 28-year-old scored the second goal of the match in the 61st minute, and a minute later, he was substituted. This campaign, Mayambela has scored three goals and grabbed five assists in 20 league outings.
Wydad AC star Cassius Mailula opened the scoring as they defeated SCC Mohammédia 5-1 on Sunday in the Botola Pro 1. A notable absentee was coach Rulani Mokwena, who was attending his late grandmother’s funeral in South Africa.

THEMBI KGATLANA NETS HER FIFTH GOAL OF THE SEASON
Banyana Banyana star Thembi Kgatlana scored her fifth league goal this season as Tigres UANL thrashed Jermaine Seoposenwe’s CF Monterrey – Rayadas 5-1 on Saturday in the Liga MX Femenil. Kgatlana played 85 minutes, on the other hand Seoposenwe wasn’t in the matchday squad.
As for defender Noko Maltou, she played 86 minutes for her side Cacereno Femenino. They suffered a 1-0 defeat against SE AEM in the Spanish Primera Federacion on Sunday.
