The agency said that they are aware of the ongoing speculation surrounding their client – Saleng with several reports indicating that the player has stopped training with Pirates because of his failed move to Al Ahly. It is said that at the Cairo giants he was set to replace Percy Tau, who has since joined Qatar Stars League side Qatar SC.
In addition, during the January transfer window, Pirates issued a statement setting the record straight on Saleng’s exit rumours. This came after agent Rui Fros revealed that the Sea Robbers rejected a proposal from Saudi club Al Nasr, which would have guaranteed Saleng an income of $700,000 [R13m] in his first year.

“We are aware of the ongoing speculation surrounding our client, Monnapule Saleng. While we have refrained from making public comments due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the matter, our silence should not be misconstrued as an endorsement of the narrative being presented against him,” reads the statement by P Management Sports.
“This matter involves significant issues at the core of the employer-employee relationship that require resolution. Our client remains committed to addressing these matters through the appropriate legal and professional channels.
“Given the confidentiality of the matter, we will not be engaging in further public discussions.
