PSL confirm Nedbank Cup quarterfinals fixture details
The PSL have announced the dates, venues, and kick-off times for the much-anticipated Nedbank Cup quarterfinal fixtures. These mouthwatering fixtures, featuring highly anticipated contests, will be played on the weekend of March 8-9, 2025.
The draw was conducted on Monday, 18 March, and was televised live on SuperSport channel 202 following the conclusion of entertaining Round 16 matches on Sunday, 17 March 2025.
SuperSport United will host the defending champions Orlando Pirates in the first quarterfinal clash of the tournament at the Old Peter Mokaba in Polokwane on Saturday, 8 March, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00.
The Buccaneers will be hoping to make history by winning the title for the third time in a row, as they have won it twice consecutively.
In Gqeberha, Stellenbosch FC will welcome Kaizer Chiefs at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday evening. The match will start at 18:00.
In the last showpiece of the Saturday matches, will see Mamelodi Sundowns take on the winners between Milford FC and Sekhukhune United tie at Lucas Moripe Stadium at 20h00.
The Round of 16 game between Milford and Babina Noko will be played this coming Sunday, 2 March, at Princess Magogo Stadium in KZN at 15:00.
NEDBANK CUP QUARTERFINALS WRAP UP MATCH
On Sunday, 9 March 2025, there will be only one game which will conclude the tournament’s quarterfinal matches.
The last quarterfinal encounter will see the Motsepe Foundation Championship side Durban City FC lock horns with the Betway Premiership outfit Marumo Gallants at Chatsworth Stadium in Durban. The game will start at 15:00.
Meanwhile, the PSL also confirmed that tickets for the quarterfinals will be sold at Ticketpro countrywide for R60 each.
“The PSL will soon share more information regarding ticket availability,” reads the PSL statement.
The winners of the tournament will pocket R7 million and qualify for the next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
