After a lengthy absence from competitive football, talented midfielder Jamie Webber has found a lifeline, landing a fresh start in the United States.
Sekhukhune United bid farewell to the former SuperSport United star on Saturday afternoon.
Webber has now joined the American club FC Tulsa from the Limpopo club, Babina Noko.
Webber had signed for Sekhukhune in July 2023 following his impressive displays at Matsatsantsa.
The 27-year-old managed to register five goals and four assists in 30 games across all competitions in his stint at Sekhukhune.
In recent months, Webber has been heavily linked with a move to one of the Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs. This move has now put an end to all the speculations of the talented midfielder joining Amakhosi.

“The Babina Noko family welcomed the 27-year-old midfielder at the start of the 2023/24 season from Supersport United.
“During his time at the club, Webber made a significant impact, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists in over 30 appearances, in all competitions.

Webber leaves Sekhukhune on position three on the Betway Premiership log standings with 31 points from 19 outings.
Babina Noko will face Milford FC in the Nedbank Cup Round of 16 tomorrow away from home. The game will start at 15:00.
The winner will face Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup quarterfinals on Saturday, 8 March 2025 at Lucas Moripe Stadium, with kickoff set for 20:00.
