Police in the Free State have arrested seven fans for violence following a Betway Premiership match between Marumo Gallants and Orlando Pirates, while four children were reported lost on Saturday.

Gallants stunned title-chasers Pirates 2-0 at a sold-out Free State Stadium in Mangaung.

The match was followed by spectator misbehaviour after several fans stormed onto the pitch. Players were quickly whisked away to the changing rooms, but there was reportedly malicious property damage.

Fans in Mangaung will also witness the CHAN qualifier clash between Bafana Bafana and Egypt on Sunday evening.
