Chiefs held to a draw by Cape Town City at FNB
Kaizer Chiefs played to a 0-0 draw against Cape Town City FC in a Betway Premiership clash at FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The result sees Chiefs remain in position eight on the log position with nine matches remaining.
Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi made two changes to the starting line-up from the team that did duty against Chippa United in Gqeberha. Dillan Solomons started ahead of Reeve Frosler, while Mduduzi Shabalala returned to the team to replace Pule Mmodi.

Jaedin Rhodes posed a few threats on the right hand side for the visitors. He nearly scored as early as the sixth minute but his shot hit the side netting.
Nathan Fasika came close with a header from a corner, but Bruce Bvuma was well-positioned to produce a great save. A few minutes later, CT City nearly suffered an own goal after a miscued shot by Fasika inside the 18-area.

Mduduzi Shabalala had the first real chance for Chiefs in the 22nd minute after beating a few CT City defenders. But his shot was saved by Darren Keet.
Solomons had a glorious opportunity to open the lead for Chiefs. His shot inside the box missed the target after he was left unmarked.
But the biggest chance of the match came on the stroke of half time. Shabalala was left with the keeper to beat inside the 18-area box but wasted the opportunity with his shot missing the target.
Chiefs showed more intent to find a goal in the early stages of the second half. Glody Lilepo hit the crossbar with his long-range attempt from outside the box. Besides both teams creating a few chances afterwards, the match ended in a draw.
In other Betway Premiership matches on Tuesday, Sekhukhune United beat Marumo Gallants 2-1 at Dr Molemela Stadium. Chibuike Ohizu and Linda Mntambo scored for the visitors while Junior Dion scored the only goal for Gallants.
Meanwhile, Manqoba Mngqithi secured his first win since returning to Golden Arrows with a 1-0 win over Polokwane City at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. Knox Mutizwa scored the only goal of the match in the second half.
