Gallants midfielder linked with three Betway Premiership clubs
A Marumo Gallants midfielder has been linked with a move to three Betway Premiership clubs following his decent displays in the ongoing campaign.
The Bloemfontein-based outfit returned to the SA elite league after successfully purchasing Moroka Swallows’ status at the beginning of the 2024/25 season.
Gallants are currently 14th in the log standings with 22 points from 22 games. They have won six matches, drawn four, and lost 12.
The club’s run of poor results has seen them make several technical team changes which saw coach Dan Malesela and technical director Molefi Ntseki shown the exit door. Gallants went on to rope in former Moroccan footballer Abdeslam Ouaddou.
WHO IS THE MARUMO GALLANTS PLAYER LINKED WITH THREE BETWAY PREMIERSHIP CLUBS
The name of the player in question is none other than Masindi Nemtajela, who plays a central midfielder. So far, he has featured in 13 games across all competitions for Gallants this season.
According to FARPost sources, the talented midfielder has been linked with a potential move to Orlando Pirates, Stellenbosch FC, and Sekhukhune United as the season is slowly coming to an end.
WHAT MASINDI NEMTAJELA’S AGENT SAID ABOUT THE LINKS
This publication reached out to the player’s agent Nimrod Mbhalati of Nida Sports Agency, who said: “Look, I’m not surprised with your call. I was actually expecting to receive a call from either you or your fellow colleagues about Masindi.
“It’s evident that he’s doing well for the team, and these offers are something I personally knew that at some point they might come,” Mbhalati told FARPost.
“It’s only the teams that you just mentioned, and I think there is more that you know, and I think we must give credit to the team Marumo Gallants and the technical team who worked with the boy and believed in him when a lot of teams didn’t believe in him.
“The club chairman, Mr Abram Sello, deserves a mention; I meant to give him a call when they were still in the Motsepe Foundation Championship to say to him that I have a gem and I believe he will suit the club’s style of play. The chairman said I don’t know the boy, but I trust you, so that’s faith, you know, so he played a huge role for Masindi to be where he is today.”
