Mayo scores as Mokwena keeps hopes of silverware alive
Striker Khanyisa Mayo was on target in Algeria as Rulani Mokwena kept his hopes of winning silverware in Morocco alive after a major cup win over the weekend.
Rulani Mokwena’s Wydad AC progressed to the Last 16 of the Throne Cup after a narrow 1-0 win over FUS Rabat on Saturday. The match was played at Stade Larbi Zaouli.
The Red Castle kept their hopes of winning silverware alive with that crucial Cup win. Mohamed Moufid scored the only goal of the match in the 58th minute.
