Another dry weekend for SA stars, as Carnell ends winless MLS run

Coach Bradley Carnell helped Philadelphia Union end their winless streak in the Major League Soccer, as goals continue to dry up for SA stars abroad.

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana put up a solid performance as FCSB beat CFR Cluj 3-2 on Sunday evening in a Romanian SuperLiga match. The match was played at the National Arena.

A brace from Juri Cisotti and a goal scored by Vlad Chiricheș were all FCSB needed to win. Additionally, Louis Munteanu scored a brace as CFR Cluj fought hard to salvage a point after FCSB’s defender Mihai Popescu was red-carded.

ELIAS MOKWANA’S ESPERANCE TUNIS MAINTAIN POLE POSITION IN TUNISIA’S TOP-FLIGHT
