As the 2024/25 PSL season nears its end, Kaizer Chiefs defender Dillan Solomons has made a big promise to the Amakhosi fans.
Chiefs have had a challenging run of form in the Betway Premiership, failing to claim a victory in their last five games.
The Soweto giants last accumulated maximum points in March after defeating Magesi FC 1-0 at FNB Stadium. After that, Chiefs went on to play three draws against Cape Town City FC, TS Galaxy, and Chippa United. They also suffered defeats against Golden Arrows and Richards Bay FC.
The Naturena-based side is eighth in the league table with 31 points from 25 matches. The Chiefs won eight league matches, drew seven, and lost 10 times.
Despite the turbulent run in the Premiership, the Glamour Boys have a big chance of winning the Nedbank Cup to end their nine-year trophy drought.
Kaizer Chiefs will face bitter rivals Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on May 10.
SOLOMONS VOWS TO WIN NEDBANK CUP WITH CHIEFS

The pacey wing-back, Solomons, has vowed to win the Nedbank Cup to give the club’s loyal supporters something to smile about at the end of the season.
“As players, we appreciate the support we get week in and week out. The pre-season was special for us with the new technical team and the new players,” said Solomons.
“So people were very happy and expected us to have a better showing than last season, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen. As players, we have to take responsibility and say that the inconsistency is on us.
“We have to take the responsibility and show the people what we’re about in this last stretch, not just on the field but also in our character. We’re going to show people what we’re about and win the Nedbank Cup.”
