Bafana Bafana CHAN squad coach Molefi Ntseki has received a major boost ahead of the second-leg qualifier against Malawi at Loftus Stadium on Sunday.
SA will go into the second-leg after suffering a 1-0 defeat away last Saturday. In that match, Ntseki was without the services of the likes of Neo Maema, Ndamulelo Maphangule, Victor Letsoalo, Siyanda Msani, Simon Ramabu and Kamogelo Sebelebele.
As FARPost had earlier reported, the Polokwane City FC duo of Ramabu and Maphangule were withdrawn at the last minute due to club commitments.
But Ntseki has now received a boost as he welcomes the six players in camp ahead of the Malawi match.
Bafana Bafana played a training match against Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars at Loftus on Thursday in preparation for the CHAN tie.
MAJOR BOOST FOR MOLEFI NTSEKI AS NEO MAEMA AND OTHER PLAYERS RETURN FOR CHAN

โI think the first one was us playing the game we played in Malawi, and the plan was to get a goal and not to concede. Unfortunately, we struggled with the game management,โ said Ntseki.

โObviously, when you have players that are not playing regularly in their teams and some of them without teams, we ended up conceding that odd goal in the last three minutes of the game,” explained Ntseki. “But that did not make us feel bad about the team. We came out of that game with the best lessons that we needed to take into the next game.
โComing back to South Africa, we made requests to the clubs to release players, especially clubs that are not playing this weekend. So, we are aware that Chippa played Sundowns, Pirates played Golden Arrows, and then there is also the Nedbank Cup final this coming weekend.
โThe teams responded very positively because they ended up sending six of the players that we needed in camp.โ
