The PSL have confirmed the official Promotional/Relegation Playoffs draw, with three teams vying for the coveted spot in the Betway Premiership.
This draw was conducted on Thursday, 15 May 2025. It was broadcast live on the official PSL Facebook page.
The playoffs will commence on Tuesday, 27 May, and conclude on Saturday, 14 June, marking the culmination of the season’s fight for promotion to the top league.
So far, four teams in the Motsepe Foundation Championship stand a chance to qualify for the playoffs. The four are, Orbit College FC, Casric Stars, Black Leopards, and Kruger United, with Durban City FC most likely to gain automatic promotion to the SA elite league as they only need a point from their last game of the season.
The teams which will finish second and third in the Motsepe Foundation Championship will battle it out with a team that will end in position 15 in the Betway Premiership.
As it stands, Cape Town City FC are placed 15th with 23 points from 26 outings. However, they can still turn things around as they are left with two league matches to play.
On the other hand, the Citizens will be hoping that Golden Arrows drop points in their last three games that the KZN club has to play.

Meanwhile, clubs two and three are the two sides from the Motsepe Foundation Championship
