At least 12 Kaizer Chiefs players attended the inaugural foundation tournament hosted by midfielder Mduduzi Shabalala in Soweto. This three-day event took place from Friday to Sunday.
The South African youth international recently took a significant step off the pitch by founding a charity organisation and launching its inaugural soccer and netball tournaments held at the renowned Dlamini Sports Complex in Soweto.
Moletsane emerged as the winners, narrowly defeating Protea Glen One 1-0 in the final.
“This is just the beginning of great things. I’m happy with the turnout, participation, and the quality of football on display. I’m sure scouts have noticed the kids, and they will soon have opportunities. The next edition will be even bigger. I’m also thankful for the support from my teammates and the club for the support,” said the PSL star Shabalala.
