Ex-Orlando Pirates and Moroka Swallows star Gabadinho Mhango is set to leave Marumo Gallants at the end of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership season.
The talented attacker has been with Gallants for only one season following Bahlabane Ba Ntwa’s purchase of Swallows’ top-flight status.
Mhango is one of the players who switched to Gallants after Swallows sold their status due to financial issues. The Malawian international had a good start to life with the Bloemfontein-based side under the guidance of the then-head coach Dan Malesela.
The 32-year-old has featured in 25 matches in all competitions for Gallants, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
In the past five league matches for Gallants, Mhango has featured once as a second-half substitute under head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou. The recent struggles for game-time have raised questions about the future of the former AmaZulu FC talisman.
MIKE MAKAAB CONFIRMS THAT GABADINHO MHANGO WILL LEAVE MARUMO GALLANTS

His agent, Mike Makaab, has told FARPost that Mhango will part ways with the Abram Sello-owned club when his contract expires next month.

“When you look at Mhango and how he has performed at his club, he has given it his all, but he will definitely leave at the end of the season.”
