Carnell tames Messi’s Inter Miami, as Davids’ Simba SC crashes

Coach Fadlu Davids saw his dream of winning a CAF title crash, as another SA gaffer, Bradley Carnell, tamed Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.

Davids had his dream of winning the CAF Confederations Cup shattered when his men drew 1-1 with RS Berkane in the second-leg of the final on Sunday.

Having lost 2-0 in the first-leg, Simba SC succumbed to a 3-1 loss on aggregate. RS Berkane made history as they accounted for a record-equalling third CAF Confederation title.
