Magesi FC will have to contend with a setback in their Betway Premiership clash against Orlando Pirates this Wednesday, as one of their star player has been ruled out of the encounter.
Dikwena Tsa Meetse are set to lock horns with the Soweto giants at Orlando Stadium in their midweek league fixture. The match will start at 19:30.
This will be the last game of the season for both sides. Magesi are currently placed 13th on the table with 30 points, while Pirates occupy the second position with 60 points.
The Limpopo side will go into this showdown knowing very well that they have survived relegation, having started the season on the wrong foot in their first season in the SA elite league.
MAGESI FC TO BE WITHOUT STRIKER WONDERBOY MAKHUBU FOR ORLANDO PIRATES TIE
The Limpopo club will take on the Buccaneers without their talented forward, Wonderboy Makhubu, who received his fourth yellow card during their 1-1 draw with Marumo Gallants in a league encounter over the weekend.

This was Makhubu’s first game after recovering from a knee injury that he sustained in February this year.
Meanwhile, Magesi head coach, Owen Da Gama, was pleased to have the 28-year-old frontman back, but said that he will miss the Pirates game.
Makhubu made 18 appearances in all competitions for Magesi this season and found the back of the net three times.
“I think he helped the team tremendously. Just his presence on the field makes the opponent focus on him because they know he is a wonderful player,” Da Gama told FARPost.
“Unfortunately, he received a yellow card and is out for the next game against Pirates. That’s the unfortunate part of it. In saying that, we were very happy to see him come onto the field. We know he is the type of player who, when he gets one chance, puts it away.”
