Richards Bay FC defender Keegan Allan has attracted interest elsewhere, his agent Mike Makaab has revealed to FARPost.
The 24-year-old centre-back will see his contract come to an end on 30 June, having joined the club at the beginning of the campaign.
He had left SuperSport United after a brief, six-month stint. Before that, he had joined the Tshwane-based club following his departure from Moroka Swallows, which was prompted by their salary issues.
Allan enjoyed his campaign at Richards Bay, establishing himself as a regular presence in the starting line-up throughout the season. He consistently contributed, making 27 appearances across all competitions and even managing to score a goal and registering an assist.
With his contract set to expire next month, Makaab has revealed that Allan is wanted elsewhere. Makaab remained tight-lipped when asked about the names of the specific clubs keen on acquiring the playerโs services.
However, he also added that they are in talks with Richards Bay, who want to retain the services of the defender ahead of the 2025/26 season.

AGENT MAKAAB GIVES UPDATE ON KEEGAN ALLAN
โKeegan, we are still in discussions with Richards Bay,โ said Makaab during the interview with FARPost. โBut I have had interest from outside, but I cannot state. I cannot, at this stage, divulge the names of the interested clubs.
โBut Iโm still in the process of talking to the chairman, Mr Jomo Biyela.โ
Meanwhile, according to FARPost sources, Allan has been on the radar of AmaZulu, who want to strengthen their defence ahead of the new season. He is also wanted by Stellenbosch FC and Sekhukhune United.ย
Allan came through Bidvest Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns youth structures before he left the latter to play in the second-tier league for AmaTuks.
In 2022, he then joined the now-defunct Swallows prior to turning out for SuperSport and Richards Bay.
