A PSL coach has announced his exit from the Betway Premiership club following the recent end of the 2024/25 season.
Abdeslam Ouaddou confirmed his departure from Marumo Gallants on Saturday, ending a brief three-month stint with the Abram Sello-owned club. He had joined Bahlabane Ba Ntwa in March, replacing Dan Malesela, who has since re-joined Baroka FC.
Ouddou was successful in the demanding task he was given, which was to ensure the club avoided relegation. The team had been enduring a slump in form, with the results not coming in the middle of the season.
The Moroccan coach oversaw 12 matches across all competitions, winning five, drawing four and losing three.
Ouaddou had told FARPost that he was optimistic about extending his tenure at Gallants. Despite that, he has now, through a public statement, confirmed he’s back in the market.
The former AS Vita coach expressed his sincere gratitude to the club for granting him an opportunity in the Betway Premiership. He further stated that he is now “open to any proposal” that might come his way.

“I would like to announce with this press release the end of the adventure with the Marumo Gallants club,” announced Ouaddou via a statement.
“It has been a great pleasure to have collaborated with all the resources of the club.
“I would like to thank first of all my players, my president, as well as all the stakeholders of the club who participated from near or far in this mission to save the club, without forgetting our magnificent supporters.
“The people of Bloemfontein will remain in my heart forever. I wish the best to Marumo Gallants as well as to my players. I love you guys.
“I obviously remain open to any proposal for an ambitious project and determined to take on a new challenge.”
