The SAFA on Tuesday appeared before the parliamentary committee for Sport, Arts and Culture, answering questions about its governance, including the salary of Under-20 coach Raymond Mdaka.
The SAFA delegation was led by its president, Danny Jordaan, CEO Lydia Monyepao, NEC members and other officials.
Among the issues that parliamentarians posed to the SAFA leaders are financial statements, VAR, equality and lack of sponsorship.

The association has also come under scrutiny following the revelations about the salary of coach Mdaka. Mdaka recently led Amajita to a historic U-20 AFCON triumph in Egypt.

But his success has been overshadowed by the shocking salary revelations made by former SAFA technical director Walter Steenbok.
During a radio interview with Metro FM, Steenbok revealed that Mdaka is not earning more than R25,000. The revelations have been met with anger from the public, comparing the over R1 million salary that the head coach of Bafana Bafana, Hugo Broos reportedly earns.
The question in parliament was posed by Makashule Gana from RISE Mzansi answered by CEO Monyepao.
