Chippa United attacker Sinoxolo Kwayiba has opened up about his potential transfer to one of SA’s ‘big three’ clubs – Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, or Mamelodi Sundowns – for the 2024/25 PSL season, with strong indications pointing towards a move to Bucs.
Kwayiba bagged the Man-of-the-Match award in Bafana Bafana’s comfortable 2-0 victory over Mozambique in an international friendly at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday night.
The talented midfielder found the back of the net for South Africa in the 47th minute, marking his first goal, while Stellenbosch FC striker Ashley Cupido secured the second.
Kwayiba has been the subject of transfer speculation following his impressive performances for the Chilli Boys. The 25-year-old joined Chippa at the start of the 2023/24 season from Motsepe Foundation Championship side Pretoria Callies.
In his two seasons with the Eastern Cape-based outfit, Kwayiba has featured in 43 games across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists.
WHAT CHIPPA UNITED STAR SINOXOLO KWAYIBA SAID ABOUT HIS NEXT TRANSFER MOVE

After proving his attacking qualities, Kwayiba has attracted interest, with several media outlets reporting that he has already penned a deal to join Pirates for the upcoming campaign.
Speaking to SABC Sport after the Bafana match against the Mambas, the utility player revealed that a big move is going to happen for him.
“Let’s hope [that I’ll join a big club], I have been praying and I’m happy with my performance for Bafana Bafana,” Kwayiba said.
“I want to do more, and I hope the move is going to happen. So I’m hoping to play for a big team and then move overseas. That’s my dream, and it’s going to happen.
“I won’t mention any name of the team for now, but I want to play for one of the big three,” the highly-rated star added.
