Siyabonga Ngezana’s club, FCSB, has expressed interest in acquiring the services of TS Galaxy and Bafana Bafana defender Khulumani Ndamane, FARPost has learnt.

The 21-year-old centre-back made a significant impact this season, emerging as a breakout star for ‘The Rockets’ after joining them as a free agent at the start of the campaign.

He quickly cemented his place in the starting line-up, forming a strong defensive partnership with players such as McBerth Mahlangu, Mlungisi Mbunjana, and Samukelo Kabini before the latter’s departure in March.

Having left Kaizer Chiefs’ Diski Challenge side at the end of the previous season, Ndamane seamlessly transitioned into the Betway Premiership, marking his debut campaign with 27 appearances across all competitions.

The second round of the season saw Ndamane called up to the Bafana Bafana squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin. Despite the call, the left-footed centre-back was ultimately withdrawn due to passport issues.

However, Ndamane received another chance to impress, joining the Bafana Bafana squad for their recent international friendly matches against Tanzania and Mozambique in Polokwane.

He made a memorable Bafana debut against the Taifa Stars on Friday, playing a full 90 minutes and earning the Man of the Match award for his stellar performance.

FCSB EYES NDAMANE AMID SUNDOWNS INTEREST

Following his impressive displays throughout the season, Romanian giants FCSB have enquired about the defender, hoping to land his signature ahead of the upcoming season.

FARPost’s reliable sources have also indicated that Ndamane is also wanted by Mamelodi Sundowns, while Orlando Pirates also enquired about the KZN-born centre-back.

In a recent interview with this website, Ndamane expressed his “dream of seeing progress” in his career. With TS Galaxy known for not withholding players when attractive offers emerge, it appears highly probable that he will be plying his trade elsewhere come next season.

“I think every player has a dream of seeing progress in their career. So for me, I wish that maybe at the end of the season I see myself playing for a bigger team because in our country we have the big three and I wish to play there,” Ndamane told FARPost.
