Chippa United have completed the signing of exciting winger, Bandile Dlamini from Royal AM, further strengthening their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
The Chilli Boys have been one of the busiest teams in the off-season, making changes to their team in preparation for the upcoming campaign.
Chippa have already confirmed the arrival of a new head coach in Sinethemba Badela, to replace Thabo September, who will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.
Badela joins Chippa with top-flight football experience after serving as an assistant coach to Rulani Mokwena at Wydad Casablanca in Morocco last season.
Before his spell at Wydad, the young coach was at Mamelodi Sundowns, serving as the DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] coach.
Meanwhile, Chippa United has also welcomed Sinesipho Mali, the former head of analysis and scouting at Sekhukhune United, as the new sporting director. Mali is taking the position that Morgan Mammila previously occupied.

With the Eastern Cape-based side looking to build a competitive squad, they have signed a talented winger, Bandile Dlamini, who was in the colours of Royal AM last season.

The 21-year-old spent three seasons with Royal AM, featuring in both the first team and the DDC side. Dlamini made the most impact in the DDC, where he scored 10 goals and provided eight assists in the 2022/23 campaign. The following season, the skilful winger netted 12 goals and chipped in with nine assists.
In 2021, Dlamini clinched the KZN Engen Cup with Trouble Tigers. He won the Player of the Tournament and Top Goal Scorer award with 14 goals.
His agent agent Ntobatsi Masegela, revealed the thinking behind the Chippa move for the highly-rated youngster.
“Chippa United is a perfect club for youngsters because in the past, they have proven to be the best in grooming youngsters,” Masegela told FARPost.
“Bandile is a good, exciting young player who has skill and speed to trouble defenders. I think for people who haven’t gotten a chance to watch him, he has a lot of goals in him. So a move to Chippa made sense when you also look at the new coach at the club, he plays exciting football that can benefit players with individual growth.”
