Betway Premiership side Chippa United has confirmed a major clear-out, with 18 players departing the club. Among those leaving is Andile Jali, while three players will return to their parent clubs.

The Chilli Boys’ major shake-up comes after they recently announced new additions to their technical team, with former Mamelodi Sundowns Diski Challenge head coach Sinethemba Badela taking over.

Bafana Bafana head performance analyst Sinesipho Mali has also been roped in as the club’s sporting director following his departure from Sekhukhune United.

The club is also set to announce the full list of its technical team, led by Badela. Mark Mayambela has also been strongly linked with a move to Chippa as an assistant coach.
