Botswana National Team left-back Benson Kitso Mangolo is on the verge of securing a move to the Betway Premiership.
After his outstanding performance for Jwaneng Galaxy in the CAF Champions League, Mangolo attracted interest from several PSL teams.
The 2023 Botswana Footballer of the Season was part of the Galaxy squad that eliminated Orlando Pirates from the Champions League two years ago, under the guidance of coach Morena Ramoreboli.
Following his impressive showing in continental football, the Zebras defender moved to Singida Black Stars but did not stay long in the Tanzania Inland Premier League. He returned to Botswana and signed a short-term deal with Mochudi Centre Chiefs, the Kgatleng giants.
Following the expiry of that short-term deal, Mangolo has set his sights on a switch to South Africa.

WHERE IS BENSON KITSO MANGOLO HEADED?
The 26-year-old player is in advanced discussions with Gallants as they aim to strengthen the left side of their defence. If everything goes as planned, this talented fullback could become a Marumo player in the coming days.
Sources indicate that the Bloemfontein-based club has offered a three-year contract to the 26-year-old full-back. The Botswana international, who has been a key player in Jwaneng Galaxy’s recent successes, is reportedly enthusiastic about making the move.
At Gallants, he will reconnect with his former Galaxy teammate, Daniel Msendami, who joined Bahlabane Ba Ntwa at the start of the season.
The 26-year-old has appeared in 26 matches in the Betway Premiership, scoring three goals and providing two assists. Gallants finished 10th in the 2024/25 season and will be hoping for a better showing next season.
