Golden Arrows striker Ryan Moon has been linked with a potential departure from the club ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 28-year-old forward has been with Abafana Besโthende since July 2022 after signing on a free transfer, having parted ways with Swedish side Varbergs BoIS.
His playing time was limited in the recently ended season, where he made only 11 appearances across all competitions. During this period, the forward managed to net just one goal and provide one assist.
RYAN MOON LOOKS SET TO DEPART GOLDEN ARROWS
With his contract having reportedly come to an end, the player is said not to be in the clubโs plans for the upcoming campaign and could depart before the pre-season.
In total, Moon has made 59 appearances in Abafana Besโthende colours, rattling the back of the net on ten occasions while registering five assists.

Arrows have yet to confirm any departures and signings so far, as they are also expected to make a few adjustments in preparation for the 2025/26 season.
However, as previously reported by FARPost, they have parted company with Sicelokuhle Hlatshwayo.
The experienced centre-back concluded an almost three-season stint with Abafana Besโthende, having joined the club in November 2022 following his move from fellow Betway Premiership side, Marumo Gallants
He also left the club after consistently struggling to secure game time, especially over the past two seasons.
In the 2023/24 season, his involvement plummeted to just two appearances, but at some point, his progress was also hampered by an injury.
The recently concluded season saw Hlatshwayo completely excluded from playing time, as he didn’t feature in a single match. His sole involvement on a team sheet was an appearance as an unused substitute in a 0-0 Betway Premiership draw against Polokwane City FC.
