FC Ravens have qualified for the upcoming SAFA ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs after being crowned the overall champions of the Eastern Cape.
This comes after the side defeated Amavarara FC 4-0 in the provincial playoffs at Rhodes University [Great Field] on Sunday afternoon.
Ravens booked their spot in the provincial playoffs after they finished top of the Inland Stream with 36 points after 14 games.
Meanwhile, Amavarara qualified for the provincial playoffs after winning the Coastal Stream with 46 points from 18 matches.
As a result, the Ravens will represent the Eastern Cape in the SA third-tier league national playoffs. The venue for the national playoffs will be announced by SAFA on Tuesday, 24 June 2025.

THE EIGHT TEAMS THAT HAVE QUALIFIED FOR THE ABC MOTSEPE LEAGUE NATIONAL PLAYOFFS
Ravens became the eighth team to book their spot for the national playoffs. The other seven clubs are African Warriors [Free State], Midlands Wanderers [KZN], The Bees [Mpumalanga], Kakamas Juventus [Northern Cape], Gomora United [Gauteng], Hanover Park [Western Cape, pending DC outcome], and Thames FC [North West, pending DC outcome].
On the other hand, the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League provincial playoffs match has been postponed to Wednesday, 25 June, pending the arbitration. Mpheni Defenders will face either the Dolphins or Sunrise FC, who are waiting for the outcome of pending arbitration.
In addition, SAFA have announced that the ABC Motsepe National Playoffs draw will be held on Tuesday, 24 June, at the SAFA House in Nasrec, Johannesburg. The national playoffs draw is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM.
According to reports, Gauteng province is set to host this year’s ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs in the Ekurhuleni region.
The playoffs are scheduled to start on Monday, 30 June, and will come to an end on Sunday, 6 July 2025.
This year, three teams will be promoted to the Motsepe Foundation Championship following the expulsion of Royal AM from the PSL.
