ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs draw confirmed

ABC Motsepe League national playoffs draw at SAFA House

The SA football governing body, SAFA, on Tuesday, June 24, confirmed the draw for the 2024/25 ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs set to be staged in Gauteng.

The draw for the national playoffs took place at SAFA House in Nasrec, Johannesburg, with matches scheduled to be hosted from Tuesday, 1 July to Sunday, 6 July 2025.

The round-robin games will be divided into three groups and played in the Ekurhuleni region at the Tsakane Stadium.

Currently, seven provinces have confirmed their representatives for the National Playoffs, but Limpopo is not among them. The province’s representative remains unconfirmed due to the postponement of their provincial playoffs match to Wednesday, June 25. Mpheni Defenders are set to face The Dolphins in this crucial match, a fixture that was finalised after Sunrise FC lost their case against The Dolphins.

In the Western Cape, the provincial playoffs will be replayed after Zizwe United won their arbitration against SAFA Western Cape regarding irregularities in the appointment of referees for their ABC Motsepe League provincial decider against Hanover Park FC last month.

The provincial decider between Zizwe and Hanover Park has been ordered to be replayed within seven days following the ruling made on Monday, June 23, 2025.

Limpopo and Western Cape have been included in the group draw, despite their representatives not yet being confirmed.
