CAF president Patrice Motsepe has sent his condolences following the passing of former Mamelodi Sundowns joint-owner Angelo Tsichlas.

Tsichlas, who also served as the club chairman, died in a car accident on Tuesday. He was the husband of current SAFA vice-president Natasha Tsichlas.

The Tsichlas family ran Sundowns from the late 80s alongside the late Krok brothers [Solly and Abe] until they sold their shares to president Patrice Motsepe. In 2015, Angelo Tsichlas also served as chief technical advisor at Masandawana.
