Betway Premiership side AmaZulu FC has confirmed the appointment of Simo Dladla as an assistant coach to Arthur Zwane.
Dladla recently parted ways with Durban City FC. This is despite Dladla helping the KwaZulu-Natal side to seal promotion to the SA elite league.
They won 17 of their 30 games last season but the coach was surprisingly let go most recently. Dladla had been linked with a move to Usuthu in recent times. The club confirmed on Monday the arrival of Dladla to the senior technical team.

“AmaZulu Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Simo Dladla to the senior technical team as assistant coach under Head Coach Arthur Zwane,” the club said.

“He is no stranger to AmaZulu, having donned the green and white jersey during his playing days, making this a meaningful return to familiar grounds.”

“I am extremely pleased with this opportunity in my career. AmaZulu FC is a big club with great ambitions. I look forward to contributing to the project,” said Dladla.
AmaZulu recently announced a major squad overhaul, releasing 16 players. This includes experienced players such as Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Wayde Jooste and Veli Mothwa.
Etiosa Ighodaro and Sifiso Ngobeni are going back to Mamelodi Sundowns following the end of their loan deals at the club.
The club also released Bafana Bafana international Tshepang Moremi after reaching an agreement with Soweto giants Orlando Pirates. Moremi was a key player for Usuthu, making 31 appearances across all competitions last season.
