Richards Bay FC have parted ways with attacker Siboniso Conco, with his contract terminated ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season.

The Natal Rich Boys began their pre-season at the start of the week. The team is now focused on preparations for the upcoming campaign.

As expected, there were some faces that did not return when the team assembled for medicals.

Having shown several players the exit door, Conco has become the latest player to go separate ways with the KZN side.

Conco was said to have inked a two-year deal, which was going to run out at the end of the next season. But he’s now unattached, looking to start a new chapter elsewhere.

Additionally, Richards Bay waved goodbyes to Yanela Mbuthuma and Nkosinathi Ndaba. They didn’t return for the pre-season after they both signed with Orlando Pirates.

The two youngsters have already linked up with the Sea Robbers, who are set to depart for their pre-season training camp in Spain, preparing for next season.

Keegan Allan has also left the Jomo Biyela-owned side after penning a pre-contract with AmaZulu FC in January this year.

Meanwhile, Justice Figareido and Thabiso Kutumela departed after the end of their contracts. As first reported by FARPost, the duo is close to joining Chippa United.

Thato Mohlamme was also released upon returning for the new season. He was told that he was not in the club’s future plans.

Other players who have headed out are Siyabonga Dube, Austin Dube and Romario Dlamini.
