SuperSport United midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu has completed his move to Kaizer Chiefs. The clubs agreed on the transfer fee, and Ndlovu has signed his contract and completed his medical examinations.
Negotiations between Chiefs and SuperSport had been ongoing for over a week, particularly since Matsatsantsa recently exercised Ndlovu’s one-year option.
Amakhosi are actively bolstering their squad for the 2025/26 season and have already announced the signings of left-back Nkanyiso Shinga, midfielder Ethan Chislett, and forward Flavio Silva.
Shinga joined them from newly promoted Portuguese outfit Alverca on a transfer fee in the region of R4.5 million. Chislett arrives as a free agent after his contract with Port Vale, now in Englandโs League One, expired. Silva, a Portuguese striker of Guinea-Bissau descent, was playing for Persebaya Surabaya in Indonesia.
Interestingly, the Soweto giants have already agreed deals with Ndlovuโs former teammates at Pirates, Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako. Official announcements are expected this week as the team departs for a pre-season tour in the Netherlands.

Ndlovu has signed a three-year contract but will not be joining the team immediately for their upcoming pre-season trip to the Netherlands. He needs a visa to travel to the Netherlands, which typically takes up to 15 days to process. The club is competing in the CAF Confederation Cup and believes their busy schedule will require a squad with depth and quality.
SIPHESIHLE NDLOVU WAS KEY FOR SUPERSPORT UNITED
Born in Pietermaritzburg, Ndlovu joined SuperSport United three years ago, initially on loan from Orlando Pirates before making the transfer permanent. He moved to the Tshwane side seeking a fresh start after leaving Pirates in 2022.
The 28-year-old was one of the standout players as Matsatsantsa fought to keep their Betway Premiership status last season. They finished 14th, level on points with Cape Town City, who were ultimately relegated after failing to win the promotional/relegation playoffs.
Meanwhile, SuperSport has been sold to Siwelele FC, who are likely to be based in Bloemfontein. Last season, the ex-Maritzburg United player was present in all but three Betway Premiership games. He contributed two goals and assisting in two other goals.
