Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Jasond Gonzalez is enjoying a career resurgence with his Bolivian club, Club Deportivo Always Ready, having scored his second hat-trick of the season.
This impressive performance saw him score three goals in a dominant 7-2 victory over The Strongest on Sunday.
Gonzalez’s recent scoring spree brings his total to 11 goals in 13 Bolivian Primera Divisiรณn matches. Notably, he has found the back of the net eight times in his last six appearances.
After concluding his stint with Chiefs in the Betway Premiership, the 26-year-old spent six months back at Real Santa Cruz, the club he played for prior to his move to South Africa.
He subsequently signed a year-long contract with Bolivian team Always Ready, committing him to the club until the end of December. The Bolivian league operates from January to December and consists of 16 teams. Gonzalez made his Always Ready debut on March 26, 2025, but initially went goalless in his first four matches.

JASOND GONZALEZโS TURNAROUND IN FORM
His scoring breakthrough came in May when he notched his first hat-trick against Universitario de Vinto in a resounding 7-0 win, contributing to Always Ready’s perfect start to the season.
He continued his goal-scoring form when the club defeated Club Wilge Jorge Wilstermann 7-1. The Colombian forward’s team currently tops the league standings and remains unbeaten after 13 games.
Last season, Always Ready finished fifth, with Gaston Sirino’s former club, Bolivar, clinching the league title.
While at Santa Cruz, Gonzalez managed six goals in 19 appearances, though his efforts weren’t enough to prevent their relegation from the Division Profesional Clausura.
His current season marks a significant improvement from his time in South Africa, where he failed to score in 13 appearances for PSL side Kaizer Chiefs across all competitions.
