Magesi FC are close to signing Kgomotso Mosadi, who spent last season at AmaTuks in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, where he scored 11 goals.
Mosadi was on loan at Pretoria University from Sekhukhune United during his recent stint.
The 26-year-old midfielder signed a long-term contract with Babina Noko in August 2023 after an impressive run with Casric Stars. His standout performances in the Nedbank Cup attracted the attention of several top-flight clubs.
During the 2022/23 season, he scored 12 goals in 29 league appearances for Casric Stars. Mosadi spent one season in the top flight after transferring from Casric Stars to Sekhukhune.
However, his debut top-flight season was challenging, as he struggled to replicate his previous form, playing 16 matches across all competitions without scoring a goal.

When he wears the Magesi jersey, he will aim to leave behind his previous setbacks and conquer the Betway Premiership. Magesi know him very well, having faced him during the league campaign that secured their promotion. At that time, he was a key player for Casric, contributing to their impressive run in the Nedbank Cup.
The Limpopo side has lost Wonder Makhubu, who impressed for them last season. Makhubu, a Sekhukhune player, will now return to his parent club. They also lost Thabang Sibanyoni, whose loan ended, although indications are that they are trying to retain his services. Mamelodi Sundowns have released Sibanyoni, and he is available as a free agent.
Dikwena Tsa Meetse recently announced the arrival of John Maduka, who takes over from Owen Da Gama as head coach. The Malawian mentor was with the now-defunct Royal AM.
In Mosadi, Maduka is getting a versatile player who can operate across the frontline. The former Pretoria Callies attacker has played as an attacking midfielder, winger, and centre-forward for Tuks.
