Ex-Polokwane City FC and Richards Bay FC forward Khuda Muyaba has joined Khama Billiat’s current team as they look to bolster their goalscoring options.

Scottland FC, a Zimbabwe PSL outfit, is leaving no stone unturned to find a reliable goal-getter during the ongoing transfer window.

Last week, they unveiled former Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United forward Terrence Dzvukamanja. And Dzvukamanja made his debut on Sunday albeit on losing note to Caps United in a league tie.

And as their search for a reliable goalscorer continues, the Harare-based side has roped in the forceful forward, Muyaba.

The Malawian star is expected to change Scottland’s goalscoring woes. Though with Khama Billiat and Walter Musona in their ranks, they have struggled to get on the scoresheet.

As it stands, Billiat and Musona have scored one goal apiece after 19 round of fixtures. Tymon Machope is the club’s top goalscorer with four goals under his belt.

And Muyaba is expected to be an instant solution for the ambitious outfit currently fixated on fifth position with 28 points and a game in hand.

FARPost understands 31-year-old agreed to a two-year contract, to keep him at the club until July 2027. He will be unveiled this week and is in line to make his debut on Saturday against Ngezi Platinum Stars.

Muyaba also had a brief spell at Venda FC in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. According to Transfermarkt he made four appearances for Polokwane City FC. He played 14 matches for Richards Bay FC and scored one goal. For Malawi, Muyaba has 29 caps and five goals under his belt.

How he will fare remains to be seen, especially in a team that has the most highly-rated players in Zimbabwe. In addition, his arrival has pushed Namibian Sadney Urikhob out of the club, as he has been released.
