Orlando Pirates have provided an update regarding the futures of midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and attacker Monnapule Saleng as the club intensifies its preparations for the upcoming season.
The Soweto giants confirmed on Wednesday night that Ndlondlo has departed, while Saleng will spend the upcoming season on loan at newly-promoted Orbit College FC.
These announcements come as the Buccaneers are currently in Spain for their pre-season camp under their new coach, Abdeslam Ouaddou.

โOrlando Pirates Football Club can confirm the departure of midfielder Phillip Ndlondlo,โ reads the club statement. โThe 28-year-old is now free to sign with a club of his choice. Ndlondlo, who joined the Buccaneers in 2022, made a number of notable contributions during his time in the famous black and white.โ

Meanwhile, Saleng has been loaned out to newly promoted Betway Premiership side Orbit College for the rest of the 2025/26 season.
“Orlando Pirates can also confirm that an agreement has been reached with Orbit College FC for the loan of Monnapule Saleng,โ the club added. โThe 27-year-old will spend the 2025/26 season with the newly crowned outfit.โ
Salengโs future at the club has been a subject of speculation since last season. This came after the Bafana Bafana player was abruptly dropped from the starting line-up and the match-day squad.
He only featured eight times in all competitions for the club last campaign. Saleng’s last match for the club was against Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League in December 2024.
At Orbit College Saleng will now reunite with Pogiso Makhoye, who was his coach at the club in 2019.
