Betway Premiership outfit TS Galaxy has parted ways with their top goal scorer, Dženan Zajmović, with only a few weeks left before the start of the new season.
The talented striker set the PSL alight after arriving at Galaxy in July 2024 under the then-head coach Sead Ramovic. In his first season in the SA top-flight, Zajmović showcased his sharp qualities in front of goal, scoring match-winning goals for the Rockets.
The lanky forward scored 11 goals and chipped in with three assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.
Zajmović played a key role in Galaxy’s fifth-place finish in the league table last season. The Mpumalanga-based side collected 35 points after winning eight league matches, drawing 11, and losing nine times in 28 games.
After impressing at Galaxy, Dženan Zajmović expressed his desire to move to a team that challenges for titles in an interview with FARPost a few months ago.
WHAT ZAJMOVIC SAID ABOUT HIS SURPRISE EXIT FROM TS GALAXY
The 30-year-old announced his surprise exit from TS Galaxy after establishing himself as a regular starter at the club.

Zajmović confirmed his departure on Instagram on Tuesday, thanking Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi, head coach Adnan Beganovic, and his teammates for their contributions to his growth.
“Unfortunately, my time at TS Galaxy has come to an end. I would like to thank the chairman, Tim Sukazi, head coach Adnan Beganovic, the technical director Nermin Basic, and the whole staff,” Zajmović said.
“Last but not least, I would like to thank my amazing teammates. It truly felt like being part of the family, and I have learned so much from all of you.
“I wish everyone continued success, and may the next chapter be better than this one. SIYA DUMUZA,” the forward added.
It remains to be seen whether Dženan Zajmović will explore options within the Betway Premiership or move overseas.
