Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Phillip Ndlondlo has spoken publicly for the first time following his exit from the club. The Buccaneers confirmed the departure of the former Marumo Gallants star on Wednesday evening as the 2025/26 PSL season is fast approaching.

Pirates decided against extending his stay at the club when his contract expired last month. Ndlondlo signed for the Sea Robbers in 2022 from Bahlabane ba Ntwa. He played over 60 games for the Bucs, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

During his stint with the Happy People, he managed to lift five trophies: three MTN8 titles and two Nedbank Cup trophies. The 30-year-old is now free to sign with any club of his choice after being granted his clearance from the Soweto giants.
