Sekhukhune United have confirmed the signing of talented midfielder Miguel Timm from Soweto giants Orlando Pirates as the club continues to build a solid squad for the upcoming season.
The 33-year-old joins the Babina Noko family after the Buccaneers opted not to renew his contract, which expired last month. Timm made over 65 appearances in Pirates colours during his tenure.
He originally joined the Sea Robbers in July 2022, following impressive performances at Marumo Gallants, where he played 60 games. However, last season saw the defensive midfielder feature in just three matches across all competitions for Pirates.
This was largely due to coach Jose Riveiro, now with Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly, preferring Thalente Mbatha and Makhehlene Makhaula in the central midfield role.
After struggling for game time, despite being a regular starter in the previous two campaigns, both parties mutually agreed to part ways.

On Thursday , the Limpopo club unveiled Bradley Grobler and Sphiwe Mahlangu from the now-defunct SuperSport United and TS Galaxy, respectively. The duo joins Sekhukhune as part of the club’s reinforcement of its striking force for the 2025/26 campaign.
In addition, a fortnight ago, Babina Noko announced the contract extensions of the club captain, Linda Mntambo, Chibuike Ohizu, Daniel Cardoso, Vusimuzi Ncube, and Tresor Tshibwabwa.
The club has already started with its pre-season training camp, and the new signings have hit the ground running.
