Haashim Domingo and Darren Keet have touched down in KwaZulu-Natal as they are set to join newly-promoted Betway Premiership side Durban City FC.
The two players were among nine players who parted ways with Cape Town City FC following their relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season.
Other players who departed the Western Cape side are Thamsanqa Mkhize, Thabo Nodada, Darwin Gonzalez, Fortune Makaringe, Lorenzo Gordinho, Kamohelo Mokotjo and Elson Sithole.
Attacking midfielder Domingo started his Cape Town City spell at the beginning of the previous campaign, joining on a free transfer after he had parted company with Raja Casablanca.
The 29-year-old notched up 32 appearances, netting one goal and registering three assists, including in the PSL Promotional/Relegation Playoffs.
Meanwhile, Keet concluded a four-year stint with Cape Town City, having joined the club at the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign on a free transfer.
During his time at the club, Keet played 104 matches across all competitions for the John Comitis-owned club, conceding 96 goals and producing 40 clean sheets.

BOTH DOMINGO & KEET TO REUNITE WITH GAVIN HUNT
Both Domingo and Keet are set to reunite with their former coach, Gavin Hunt, who took the reins recently at Durban City. Hunt replaced Simo Dladla, who promoted the Durban-based side to the top-flight. Hunt mentored the two players during his stint at Bidvest Wits.
Domingo turned out for ‘The Clever Boys’ for two seasons – 2018/19 and 2019/20. At Wits, he scored six goals and provided four assists in 57 appearances.
Meanwhile, Keet’s second stint at Wits was between the 2016/17 and 2018/19 seasons. He was part of the squad that won the ABSA Premiership [now Betway Premiership] and Telkom Knockout Cup [now Carling Knockout Cup].
During his time with the Gauteng side, Keet made 139 appearances, conceding 148 goals and coming out with 46 clean sheets.
