Former Sekhukhune United and Golden Arrows head coach Lehlohonolo Seema has been shortlisted for the head coaching job at Siwelele FC.
Seema has been without a team since parting ways with Babina Noko in March 2025. The former Orlando Pirates defender was shown the exit door in his second spell at Sekhukhune after having a stint with the club in the 2023/24 season.
In April, Seema returned to his home country, Lesotho, to take over the senior coach role at Bantu FC. But after a few months away from the PSL, Seema has opened talks with Siwelele to become their new coach for the upcoming Betway Premiership season.
Siwelele are a new club in the SA top-flight after purchasing the status of one of the most historic clubs in SA, SuperSport United.
RULANI MOKWENA REJECTED SIWELELE’S OFFER

With Siwele preparing for life in the Premiership, they are on the hunt for a new coach to take over the helm. FARPost previously reported that Siwelele approached Rulani Mokwena for the job; however, the highly-rated mentor turned down the offer.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician has since been appointed as the coach of Algerian giants MC Alger. Siwelele has now shifted its focus to Seema, and indications are that talks are ongoing between the two parties.
A source privy to the information has revealed that Siwelele and Seema held a meeting, although the final decision is yet to be made.
“Lehlohonolo Seema is in discussion with Siwelele FC for the head coaching role after the club bought the status,” a source told this publication.
“The club is trying to sort out the coaching issue as soon as possible because the league is starting in the next few weeks. So the team needs to have a good pre-season with the new coach.”
